Privacy policy
Hermes (hermes.ivyroadmap.org) is an internal tool operated by the Ivy League Roadmap (“we”). Our staff use it to make social media posts for Whiz, the Ivy League Roadmap and The Chant Stand. It is not a public product: only people we have invited can sign in.
What we get when you sign in with Google
Signing in asks Google for your name, email address and Google account ID, and nothing else. We use them for two things: to check that your email is on our list of invited staff, and to keep you signed in. They are kept in a signed cookie in your browser for up to 30 days. We do not store them in a database, and we do not use your Google account for anything else.
What you make in Hermes
The briefs, comments and pictures you enter, and the videos and carousels Hermes makes from them, are stored in our database and file storage until the post is downloaded or deleted. To make a post we send the brief to the AI services that write, voice and render it.
Who processes the data
- Vercel: hosting, file storage and rendering. It keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and time.
- Neon: the database.
- OpenRouter and Google (Gemini): writing the script from a brief.
- ElevenLabs: the voiceover for videos.
We do not sell data, show ads, or share your Google account information with anyone. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Deleting your data
Sign out to remove the cookie from your browser. Deleting a post in Hermes removes it and its files. To have anything else removed, email us.
